And thanks fo...Thanks for your comment on my blog! And thanks for the answer about wearing your sweaters and completing your degree. I have several degrees, but not a PhD. I have what we can an undergraduate (4 year)degree in English, French and Secondary Education--1971. This gave me a license to teach French and English at grades 7-12. I also have J.D. (juris doctor) which is a law degree. Here in the US a law degree follows a 4 year undergraduate degree and requires 3 years of academic work--degree received in 1977. That degree gave me a license to practice law in Wisconsin in state and federal courts. Then, after retiring from practicing law, I returned to graduate school for a Masters Degree in Library and Information Studies. Because I "specialized" in school libraries, this qualified me for a license to be a school librarian in elementary and secondary schools in Wisconsin. This degree also follows a 4 year undergraduate degree and is what we call a Master's degree. I would have to do a dissertation to obtain a PhD in library and information studies. While I am looking for a school librarian position, I volunteer two days per week in a public school where at least 95% of the students receive free lunch--meaning that the students' families live at the poverty level or below. It's been an interesting life!gailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00388513735575276301noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15163900.post-42275646574729030202007-12-12T21:22:00.000+01:002007-12-12T21:22:00.000+01:00Dearest Gail!I will finish (since Im working full ...Dearest Gail!<BR/>I will finish (since Im working full time) in another 2-4 years...
